Michael Dalby, IOM, CCE

Michael brings 20 years of Chamber experience to the United Way of Collier County board as a Proven regional business and community leader. He provides a keen understanding of business development principles, and a studied insight into recruiting manufacturing, service, retail and hospitality enterprises, all while retaining and growing existing businesses. His track record of not-for-profit organizational excellence in new program development - with a backing in financial analysis - gives him the skill to manage an organization that attracts new funding and retains members. Together with strong media relations, branding and marketing experience, Michael can advocate before all parties and interests, craft legislative positions, coordinate hired lobbyist efforts and gain political support for business and area issues at all levels of government.

Prior to taking the Naples Chamber helm, Michael was President of the Columbus (OH) Chamber of Commerce, and, prior to that led chambers in Indiana, Texas and New Mexico. In all, Michael has 24 years of Chamber of Commerce experience. He is a veteran of the US Air Force and has degrees from the USAF Academy and the University of Nebraska.

Michael is driven to make Collier County the best place in America to live, work and play. The Chamber is the largest nonprofit advocate for the Collier County business community, with more than 1600 members representing 50,000 employees. The Chamber is actively engaged in public policy, regional economic development and leadership development - providing valuable business growth resources and connections to our members. With Michael on board, we are excited to see what he can accomplish together with United Way of Collier County.
