Jim is retired executive with over 40 years of experience in information technology, service operations, project management, business process improvement and business counseling. He is Six Sigma certified.
Originally a resident of Buffalo, NY, Jim graduated Niagara University with BA degree and State University College with a Master of Science in Education. Jim also holds an Associate of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.
Jim and his wife Patricia moved to Atlanta, GA in 1979 where Jim spent the remainder of his working career. Jim’s Atlanta career includes working in senior management positions for high technology companies including Contel Data Service Corporation, AT&T Tridom (now GE Spacenet), Scientific-Atlanta (now Cisco Systems, Inc.) and Grizzard Communications Group, Inc. (now One & All)
After retirement, Jim focused on opportunities where he could give back to the community by providing his pro bono services. Jim worked closely with Greensboro, GA Junior Achievement to implement training programs in local school systems with a focus on preparing students to be future business leaders. Other initiatives included college tours to educate high-school students on career programs and scholarship opportunities.
Jim worked with the City of Greensboro, GA on their Christmas Stocking Fund for low-income families. He eliminated paper forms and manual tracking of family applications by developing an online database and reporting system to evaluate family qualifications for monetary assistance.
After moving to Naples, FL, July 2012, Jim joined SCORE Naples. SCORE Naples provides free business counseling for start-up and established businesses. Jim serves as a business counselor, Director of Technology and a member of the Board.
Jim also provides technical support to the “Women of the 239,” a 150-member women’s club founded by his wife Patricia Moslow. The club focuses on four pillars: health & wellness, continued learning, community outreach and social programs.
