What Do They Do?

Vision Statement: Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee will support the working families of the Southwest Florida community and provide:
  • Safe and educationally conducive environment for children of the Immokalee area;
  • The best early childhood education and childcare with excellent teachers and the most up to date educational materials, creating a strong learning environment; and
  • Strong financial position supported by the community.
















Programs United Way Supports at Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee

The funds are used to provide tuition assistance to low- income students. 

What Their Volunteers Do

Volunteers can support Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee by:

  • Assisting on literacy projects
  • Mentoring children
  • Helping with the START Right Parent Education Program 
  • Assisting with maintenance projects at the center
  • Participating in a scrapbooking project of puttng together 50 years of ICCC's history
  • Volunteering for the annual Giving Tree event. 
  • Donating their time as Board members

What Their Dollars Do

  • $10.00 can buy a month’s work of educational supplies for a classroom 
  • $25.00 monthly donation to sponsor a child
  • $120.00 annual donation to sponsor a classroom

Did You Know?

99% of the children who attend Pathways Early Education Center of Immokalee come from families at or below the federal poverty level.   
ICCC serves $6,000 nutritional meals monthly that are approved by the State of Florida Child Care Food Program. 
ICCC has maintained national accreditation since 1999.  
75 % of the Children enrolled in VPK come from a non-English speaking home. 
Since the implantation of the START Early Learning Initiative the Department of Education Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten test scores have increased 25% across the board.
