Clark Hill and Sandy Waite lead the 2009-10 campaign effort to raise $2.25 million for the United Way and the 29 agencies that are funded this year.

Both are optimistic the goal will be met notwithstanding the economic climate. Ms. Waite, co-owner of Platinum Total Fabricare, knows that “working smarter and harder with, new eventsand broader community outreach will be the key to our success.  The time we invest will impact lives.” 

Both busy volunteers, active in many other community and civic groups, acknowledge that the real goal is far greater than the monetary goal.  The true success comes from the 100,000 people that benefit from the services by United Way’s partner agencies.  “Over the course of our lives, we all need a little help,” points out Mr. Hill, General Manger  of the Hilton Naples and Shula’s Steak House.  “Through United Way we can all be that helping hand.”                                                                            
                                                                                                                                       
The United Way of Collier Collier is extremely appreciative for the leadership of Ms. Waite and Mr. Hill, who  are joined  by the 2009-10 campaign cabinet.
